I’m a software engineer with experience building real products end-to-end across both startups and larger tech companies, spanning consumer-facing applications as well as backend infrastructure platforms. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, where I built a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals that I continue to apply in practice today.
Over the years, I’ve been on both sides of the technical interview process — as both a candidate and an interviewer. I’ve seen that strong engineers usually go beyond high-level theory. They understand the implementation details: what services to use, what tradeoffs matter, what code to write, and how systems actually work in practice.
Earlier in my career, I personally struggled with system design interviews until I began rebuilding real systems from scratch. That hands-on approach completely changed how I understood architecture, scalability, and backend engineering, and helped me succeed in interviews across Big Tech, startups, AI companies, infrastructure companies, and prop trading firms. That same practical philosophy shapes my courses today.
My goal is to help you move beyond hand-wavy diagrams and build real intuition through project-based learning, so you can become a stronger engineer and perform more confidently in interviews.
