Hi, I’m Aakanksha!

I am the Founder and CEO of Re:Set, a global well-being and professional development company working with leading organizations, educational institutions, and individuals across 8 countries. I am also a certified leadership coach to Fortune 500 CEOs, helping senior leaders navigate high-pressure corporate environments with clarity and resilience.

I am an alumna of Columbia University and the University of Toronto, where I graduated with academic distinction. Before founding Re:Set, I was a journalist with VICE Media and CNN in New York City, reporting on major global stories and covering leaders including former U.S. President Barack Obama and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

From my experience interviewing some of the most influential people on the planet and coaching Fortune 500 CEOs, I've learned it's rarely just credentials that determine who rises to the top. It is a skillset and it can be learned. Through my courses, I want to give young people access to these insights earlier, so you have the actionable skills, presence, and future-readiness to stand out from the start, especially in the age of AI.

I am also a Forbes Middle East 30 Under 30 honoree, recognized for my work helping organizations build healthier, more human workplaces. I am a Visiting Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, an Asia 21 Next Generation Fellow at the Asia Society, and an alumna of the Young Leaders Circle at the Milken Institute.

I have previously served as the Workplace Wellness Advisor to the Middle East PR Association and as a Mental Health Ambassador for 'Take Care,' a joint initiative by VICE x TELUS Fund focused on youth mental health in Canada. I am also a published author: in 2025, my mental health and well-being textbooks, the Inner Edge, the first of their kind in India, were published and rolled out in schools across the region.

I also host 'Why This Now? by Re:Set,' an award-winning mental health docuseries podcast recognized for Best Produced and Best Interview Podcast at the India Audio Awards.
