About me
Valentine Addae is an Electrical and Electronic Engineering professional and mining-industry practitioner with hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, power systems, maintenance, and applied electricity. He holds a Professional Master of Engineering in Industrial Operations with Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT).
Valentine currently works in the mining industry at Asante Gold Chirano, where he is involved in electrical operations and maintenance within a demanding industrial environment. His practical experience includes electrical troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, power distribution, electrical machines and motor control, instrumentation, PLC-based systems, automation, and industrial equipment reliability.
With a strong technical background in circuit analysis, power systems, electrical machines, PLC wiring, motor control, instrumentation, automation, and SCADA, Valentine combines academic knowledge with real-world mining and industrial experience. This enables him to teach engineering concepts from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
His teaching approach emphasizes clear explanations, step-by-step worked examples, practical applications, and hands-on problem-solving techniques that help learners build confidence and technical competence. His courses are designed for beginners, technicians, engineering students, and working professionals seeking to strengthen their technical knowledge and understand how engineering principles are applied in real industrial environments.
Beyond his engineering career, Valentine is also an entrepreneur and educator who develops learning content in electrical engineering, applied electricity, industrial operations, engineering safety, automation, and other technical disciplines.
Valentine believes that quality technical education should be practical, accessible, industry-relevant, and career-focused. Through his Udemy courses, he aims to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world engineering practice, empowering learners to master fundamental concepts, develop strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and confidently apply their knowledge in mining, industrial, commercial, and residential environments.
His goal is to transform complex engineering concepts into practical knowledge that learners can understand, remember, and apply in their studies, careers, and workplaces.
