Dr Adnan Malik is an International Finance Corporation (IFC) certified trainer, practitioner, researcher, and academician. He is a certified Takaful practitioner researcher, and academician. He has worked for 15 years in reputed life, general Insurance & Takaful companies. He holds a Doctorate degree in Islamic Business & Finance. He has authored three books on Takaful. His first book was published in 2016 and HEC declared it best book of the year 2015-16 in the Management category. 2nd book was published in Urdu in 2017. 3rd book was published by one of the world leading publisher Springer Nature.. This book is presently one of the best - selling books on Takaful globally.

He has also authored multiple case studies and research papers on Takaful. He frequently writes in newspapers about country’s Social Security Programmes and climate hazards. Presently, he is teaching Takaful and serving as Head of Industry Academia Linkages Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (CEIF) Institute of Management Sciences, Pakistan. He has conducted various trainings on different topics related to Takaful including Risk Management, Banca Takaful, Underwriting & Claims Management.
