Ahmed Maalmi, Ph.D., PMP® is a program and operations leader, engineer, researcher, and educator with more than 12 years of experience across complex industrial, digital transformation, semiconductor, automotive, and highly regulated production environments. His career combines project and program management with operations excellence, industrial engineering, supply chain, and digital transformation.

He has led large-scale industrial and digital transformation initiatives involving production systems, MES/PMS deployment, industrialization, process optimization, manufacturing technology, operational performance, and cross-functional program governance. Earlier in his career, Ahmed held engineering and manufacturing leadership positions with Continental, Forvia, and STMicroelectronics, working on industrialization, production performance, planning, quality, and continuous improvement.

Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering & Logistics from Ibn Tofail University, with research focused on Industry 4.0, sustainable supply chains, blockchain applications, and resilient operations. He also holds a Master’s degree in AI Technologies & Innovation from École Hassania des Travaux Publics and an Engineering degree in Industrial Processes Engineering from École Mohammadia d’Ingénieurs. His academic work includes important Scopus-indexed publications in supply chain innovation, sustainability, Industry 4.0, blockchain, and decision-support systems.

Alongside his industry career, Ahmed teaches Project Management to engineering students and has extensive experience delivering professional training to engineers, supervisors, technicians, and operational teams. His training experience includes project management, 8D problem solving, production planning and scheduling, line balancing, process optimization, Lean, 5S, TPM, and operational excellence.

He is a PMP® (Project Management Professional) and IRCA Lead Auditor, with additional credentials in Operational Excellence, AI & Big Data, 8D problem solving, and intellectual property management.

Ahmed’s teaching philosophy is simple: turn complex management concepts into practical decision-making tools. His courses combine structured frameworks with realistic industrial and business scenarios, calculations, case studies, templates, dashboards, and actionable methods that learners can apply directly in their work.
