I am Associate Professor at Electrical Power Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. And also, I am currently working as a Technical Expert in Elsewedy Power System Projects (PSP) company. PSP company is EPC company in the construction field of the high voltage substations, power plants, and water treatment plants. The company has contributed in constructing several projects in inside Egypt and outside Egypt in the middle east.

I received my Master’s and PHD degree s in Electrical Power Engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt in 2013 and 2019, respectively.

I am contributing in teaching several courses to undergraduate students in the area of HV engineering such as switchgear and power systems protection courses, HV measurements, underground cables, and grounding system.

I am contributing in performing several power system studies, using different software, such as ETAP, PSCAD, DIgSILENT power factory. These studies include Load flow and short circuit studies, relay setting and coordination studies, Transient Stability studies, Motor starting studies, Arc flash analysis, Harmonic analysis, Insulation Co-ordination studies.

Also, I am contributing in Sizing calculations of LV, MV and HV power cables, sizing calculations of overhead conductors, Sizing calculations of generator step up transformers and auxiliary power transformers, earthing zig-zag transformers, generator circuit breaker and isolated phase bus duct, and CT and VT sizing Calculations, battery and battery chargers.

Moreover, I am contributing in Preparing overall single line diagram and low voltage AC&DC single line diagram, preparing relay and metering single line diagram, Preparing technical specifications for different electrical equipment, and technical review for different electrical equipment, such as LV, MV and HV power cables, power transformer, GIS switchgear, MV and LV Switchgear, and outdoor equipment such as surge arrester, voltage transformer, current transformer and cable sealing end.
