Alaa Ismail, MBBCh, is an Egyptian physician, researcher, and educator with a distinguished record of academic excellence, clinical service, and contributions to medical research. He graduated from Helwan University, ranking among the top 15% of his class. Currently, he serves as a General Practitioner at New Capital Hospital, one of Egypt’s flagship Ministry of Health institutions, where he provides comprehensive care across diverse clinical settings.

From the earliest stages of his career, Dr. Ismail demonstrated exceptional promise in research and academic pursuits. In 2017, he was awarded the First-Prize Country Award supported by UNICEF in Oman for his review on “Substance Abuse.” Later, he earned the First Prize at the Annual Histopathology Conference of the Egyptian Committee for Pathology Training (ECPT) for his work on non-atherosclerotic arterial diseases as a cause of sudden cardiac death. These awards cemented his reputation as a rising scholar and innovative thinker.
