Hi, dear friends. I am Altan Çarıkçıoğlu, an Istanbul University ELT graduate. I have been teaching English since 2000. During my teaching career, I worked as a lecturer at Istanbul University, Bilgi University, Medipol University, the Air Force Academy and language schools. I founded the first Language Cafe - English Spoken Cafe in 2009 and the first online English learning platform, Speakrooms, in 2015. In 2025, I founded the social media platform for language learning, the Spoken Cafe app. My teaching is based on applied language and practice during the sessions. Hope to see you all in my classes.
