I know what it’s like to have those big ambitious cake decorating ideas, only to encounter melted icing, lopsided cakes or fondant toppers falling off the cake.

I was a graphic designer when I first dived into the sweet world of cake, craving a slice of escapism from my 9-5. I started searching for a creative outlet and stumbled onto the tv show The Great Australian Bake Off, just as the first cupcake-themed episode aired. I was in awe of their amazing cake creations and I became instantly hooked with cake decorating overnight (just ask my mum and husband, I wouldn’t shut-up about it).

I took my first ever cake class only a few weeks later and it cemented by obsession. It truly became my passion, but it took many failed cake attempts to finally be where I am today #noregrets.

Cake decorating made me feel excited again and emotionally fulfilled - it stirred this passion and creativity inside me that I hadn’t felt in so long.

Fast forward a decade, and armed with a plethora of experience and a deep love for teaching, I've discovered my true calling - helping other cake lovers on their cake decorating journey. There's nothing quite like witnessing the spark of creativity ignite in my students’ eyes as they master piping and sculpt sweet masterpieces. It's truly inspiring.
