Andreja Varicak is a football coach with 15 years of professional experience. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Football Coaching and began his career as a Youth coach at the age of 23, while also playing semi-professional football until he turned 28.
For the subsequent five years, he focused on coaching players aged U6 to U12, during which he successfully developed a grassroots program.
In 2016, he relocated to China, where he took on the role of U18 Youth coach. Over his five-year tenure, Andreja and his players secured multiple contracts with prestigious universities in China and achieved over 10 trophies, including five championships.
In 2021, he embraced a new opportunity as the Technical Director of Hefei City, where his responsibilities included developing the coaching curriculum, training coaches, conducting practical training sessions, and overseeing the progress of Chinese coaches. Concurrently, he managed the Hefei City U16 and U18 teams, leading them to victory in the Provincial competition.
In 2022, Andreja joined the Serbian Superleague club Radnicki 1923 as a Tactical Analyst and Assistant Coach, where he was responsible for analysis and on-pitch assistance.
In 2023, he advanced to the position of First Assistant Coach for the Estonian Superleague team, Paide, where he was tasked with designing training sessions and implementing them on the field.
His most recent role was as Head Coach of the U21 Paide team, which competes in the second tier of the Estonian league.
