I'm Chief Product Officer at Elomia Health, where I work on AI conversational support for anxiety and depression. Our team started as a clinical research lab in 2019, before general-purpose chatbots existed, which means I've spent several years watching this field form from the inside rather than reading about it afterwards.
Most of my job comes down to a single question: what separates a mental health tool that is safe to use from one that only says it is. That means reading the clinical literature, testing competing products, and listening to people about what actually helped them and what quietly made things worse.
I am not a clinician and I don't teach therapy. I teach people how to judge the tools they're already using.
