Arleen Tyndall worked for 25 years as a trauma-informed clinical HIV pharmacist serving marginalized communities while sharing care of Dr. Gabor Maté's patients in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.

After recognizing her own struggles in motherhood with perfectionism and inherited pain, she trained with Oprah's favorite parenting expert, Dr. Shefali. During a sabbatical in her mother’s birthplace of Bali, learning about her ancestral history helped her heal long held wounds that were showing up in her parenting. She was inspired to launch a Conscious Parenting movement at The Green School Bali and train in Somatic Alignment.
