Aya Rashed is an Arabic and Quran reading teacher with over a decade of full-time teaching experience, specialising in Tajweed, Arabic reading rules, and Quranic recitation for non-native learners. She graduated from Al-Azhar University and is certified in teaching Quranic recitation of Hafs 'an 'Asim by the path of Ash-Shatibiyyah. She also holds an Ijazah in the Jazariyyah, recited from memory with its connected chain of transmission (sanad), and is certified in the Nur Al-Bayan method for teaching Quran reading. Teaching has been her daily work throughout these years, with thousands of lessons delivered to learners of different ages.
