After spending 13 years at the University of South Africa as a distance education lecturer, I joined the private sector where I became the Security Architect for a large international company. I was both CISSP and Togaf certified.

With today's focus on all things AI, I believe it is still important for users to understand and be able to analyze log files using only native Linux tools, as this enables them to better set up the environment and understand other available reports.
