BONSAI JOURNEY shares the practice and thinking behind Japanese bonsai. Our lessons feature Koji Hiramatsu, a fourth-generation bonsai artist based in Takamatsu, Japan. We explore how to observe a tree, choose work that suits its condition, and understand why each step matters. Topics include black pine, juniper, and small bonsai. BONSAI JOURNEYは、日本・香川県高松市の盆栽園「平松春松園」で受け継がれてきた技術や考え方を、動画を通じて学べる場です。平松春松園の四代目・平松浩二先生を中心に、黒松、真柏、小品盆栽の管理や造形を扱います。作業の手順だけでなく、樹を観察し、何を残し、なぜその作業を選ぶのかを大切にしています。初めて盆栽に触れる方にも、すでに樹を育てている方にも、季節ごとの変化を見ながら学びを深めていただければと思います。
