I'm a procurement professional and trainer, with a passion for helping learners build their knowledge, apply their skills, and excel in their exams. Before transitioning to procurement, I worked as a sustainability manager in both the water and aviation sectors for many years, particularly in the world of planning, engineering, and project management. Having been exposed to small, medium-sized, and capital projects, the procurement aspects were so intriguing that I retrained. Fast forward, I now assist the public sector with the development of end-to-end enhancements for the sector as well as the delivery of in-person and online procurement training.
My unique experiences have helped to shape my procurement perspectives and provide a big-picture view of procurement from several angles .... a user, a practitioner, a subject matter expert, a trainer, an advisor, and a Board Director. I am committed to the notion of learning and self-improvement, having been a corporate trainer and university lecturer plus personally re-training mid-career.
