Hello Everyone, here is a little bit about myself!
My name is Chris Gatlin. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. I have an extensive basketball background and after playing basketball for over 8 years on a college and professional level, I began developing individual basketball workouts for myself and my peers. As a result, in 2010, I discovered my passion and gift for training. I wanted to create a way to invest in the next generation of players.
Nextstory Basketball was created in 2017 in efforts to stay connected to the game that opened so many doors for me. Nextstory Basketball is predicated on pushing personal limits and becoming the best versions of ourselves.
Nextstory Basketball is here to offer quality basketball skills development training for players of all skill levels.
My playing career includes playing collegiate basketball for LSU-Shrveport university. There I was a 1st team all conference selection, I was named to the NAIA All-American team, and also the the All-Louisiana team which was the 15 best college players in the state of Louisiana on all levels.
I also played professional basketball in several countries including Germany, Estonia, and Mexico.
In 2014 I was selected to play in the Nike World Basketball Festival in Barcelona, Spain.
I also competed in the Nike Drew League which is widely regarded as the toughest summer pro-am league in the world, and futures several NBA superstars.
