My name is Christian Zatta (*1993) and I’m a guitarist, composer, touring musician, band leader and educator, active internationally. I was born and raised in Lugano and I’m currently based in Zürich (Switzerland).
I obtained my first Master of Arts in Music in “Performance and Composition” as well as my second Master degree in “Music Pedagogy” at the Lucerne University of Arts (Jazz), under the tuition of Roberto Bossard, Frank Möbus, Christy Doran, Kalle Kalima, Nathanael Su and Jesse Van Ruller.
In 2018, 2020 and 2024 I lived in New York City for some months and took lessons with some of the most influential jazz musicians, like Mike Stern, Gilad Hekselman, Ben Wendel, Mike Moreno, Nir Felder, Ben Monder, Nitai Hershkovits, Ari Hoenig and Shai Maestro.
I’m an experienced stage and studio artist, with more than 450 live shows in 13 different countries and eleven studio albums.
