澳洲出生長大的宛音老師從五歲就開始經歷音樂的喜樂了。剛開始都是受古典音樂的教育。宛音還在小學時就已經會彈鋼琴，中提琴，吉他，各種直笛，還有參加合唱團和弦管樂團。在國中時就自學如何彈和弦在鋼琴和吉他上，然後高中時就開始自己創作。在高中宛音也參與在兩個合唱團裡唱女高音和兩個樂團裡彈中提琴。高三被選上當學校的音樂隊長。大一中了獎學金進入墨爾本大學的弦管樂團彈中提琴。

大學時宛音也建立了一個Funk-Rock福音樂團叫做Balaam's Donkey。宛音是主唱，吉他手和最主要的歌手。2006宛音獨立出來當歌手，與創作者Phil Gaudion (Paul Colman Trio)出了一個搖滾專輯叫Keep It Real (2009)。

宛音從十五歲就成為了她的青少年團契的音樂總監。2003年在Bundoora長老教會當音樂總監三年。2008年成為Lifespring教會的音樂總監。2013-2020年宛音在Planetshakers教會的樂團裡服事彈木吉他。如今宛音在台灣的Future Generation 未來世代成為音樂總監和編曲創作人。

宛音相信音樂是上帝賜給我們的幸福好禮物，所以儘量找出最基本的方式讓學員了解音樂和樂器的結構。這樣學員可以更快一起浸泡在音樂的喜樂裡。

Clara is Australian-born to Taiwanese parents. She started playing the piano from the age of 5. Clara was instructed in the Classical method and grew her repertoire to include viola, guitar and voice. During her school years, she was involved in various orchestras and choirs. She also began writing her own songs during high school and founded her first band in 1996.

Clara has been music directing from her youth and has overseen the music ministry at various churches. She has also played in worship bands in various church organisations. In 2021, she became the music director of Future Generation 未來世代, the music ministry of 基督的聖教會 Christ Victory Church in Taichung, Taiwan. Together, they released over 20 songs in 4 years.

Clara has released music in various genres, including rock, loft hip hop (Raifu Supikusu), Mandarin worship (Future Generation 未來世代) and Biblical children's songs (Lifespeaks Kids) which have reached close to 2 million streams.
