Over the past ten years, I have specialized entirely in information security, driven by the unique challenges, profound responsibilities, and constant innovations this dynamic field demands.
My career began at the foundational level of IT in helpdesk support, eventually progressing through roles as a system administrator, IT group leader, and OSS engineer. This hands-on, ground-up journey has given me an extensive understanding of broad technical landscapes and complex business processes—insight that is absolutely critical when identifying vulnerabilities and establishing effective, business-aligned security controls.
Currently, I operate as an Independent Cybersecurity Consultant, where I leverage my expertise to help organizations navigate complex risk management strategies and build robust security postures. Prior to my independent practice, I served as a CISO in MSSP, then Cyber Security and Privacy Protection Expert for the Central Asia region at Huawei and had the privilege of leading the Information Security Department at Azerconnect, the biggest Mobile Operator and ISP provider of Azerbaijan. Through these leadership roles, I have navigated the complex intersections of technology, corporate risk, and strategic communication with executive management.
