Cyrel San Gabriel is currently the CEO of Editing Pro, a US-based consulting firm providing editing and proofreading services primarily for international development agencies. She has been into international development work since 2006. She has edited hundreds of publications on various topics about governance, climate change, urbanization, gender equality, digitalization, conflict and fragility, water, renewable energy, education, and health.

Her humble beginnings were in 1996, working full time with the Development Academy of the Philippines, first as a project assistant then as a project manager for research, training, and publishing projects. In 2004, she started a Philippine-based consulting firm catering to donor-financed and government-funded projects. She is a proud Rotary Peace Fellow (2016 cohort in Bangkok, Thailand).

She holds a PhD degree in international conflict management from Kennesaw State University, Georgia, USA;  and a master’s degree in development communication and a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication from the University of the Philippines.
