Hello! I’m Darryl Girard and I’ve been teaching piano and guitar for over 30 years. I first began teaching in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at Speir Music, Brook Mays, Southwest Music School, and The Center For Creative Living. Voted 2016 Best Teacher by Steinway Hall Fort Worth, I currently give private lessons from my home studio in a DFW suburb. I'm happy to have helped many students learn to read music, play by ear, improvise, participate in jam sessions, perform in recitals, and make recordings. I enjoy helping students listen, think, and speak like musicians as well as play their favorite songs. As a 2010 TELLY Award Winner, I also compose and record original music for sync and licensing.
