With a musical journey that began at the age of 9, Dennis embarked on a path that encompassed classical training, jazz, and gospel genres. At 18, he independently produced and recorded his debut piano solo album, titled "Meditations," within the confines of his personal studio. The album achieved considerable success, reaching the top 20 charts for the Southern Gospel genre on Rhapsody/Napster for multiple weeks in 2007.

In addition to his early piano education, Dennis pursued further musical knowledge in Portland, Oregon, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. His professional career as a pianist also led him to excel as a composer, arranger, and producer, having lent his expertise to numerous projects spanning jazz, gospel, country, bluegrass, and film scoring.

Dennis deeply values the role of teaching, owing to the knowledge and guidance he received from others.
