Hi! I’m Dina. I’m a painter and a children’s book writer and illustrator with a love for teaching. Ever since I co-wrote and illustrated my most recent children’s book, Girl Around The World Diary, my interest in teaching has grown. The diary is available in bookstores around the world and includes writing and drawing prompts at the end. It is such a joy to see our readers' eager response to the drawing cues, especially when I shared it with my son’s art class when I volunteered as a teachers assistant.

I’ve been passionate about drawing the human face and figure for as long as I can remember. Ever since my student days at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. It was there where I really began to master the subtle, yet crucial skill of finding the correct proportions to create precise likeness in my portraits and to illustrate characters of all ages from my imagination.
