Dr Hakeem-Ur-Rehman is a dynamic consultant, trainer and academician with over 15 years of experience at leading Pakistani academic institutions and professional executive training bodies. He is involved as a Resource Person in many professional training/courses like Total Productive Maintenance, Lean Six Sigma (Green & Black Belt), Value Stream Mapping, Operation & Supply Chain Management, Project Management Using Primavera P6, and Production Planning and Control, etc. His academic background includes a PhD. Management Science & Engineering (Operations & Supply Chain Management), from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China; MS-Total Quality Management and MSc in Information & Operational Management (Operations Research) from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He is also Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (Exemplar Global – USA), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (SQII-Singapore) & IRCA (UK) Lead Auditor of QMS. He is a member of the Production & Operations Management Society (POMS), USA, Institute of Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS), USA, Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM), USA, and Pakistan Society of Industrial Engineering (Member, Advisory Board).

He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Institute of Quality & Technology Management, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. His research interests include operations and supply chain management, quality management, Industry 5.0, and optimization. His research has been published in academic journals, such as International Transactions in Operational Research, Journal of Forecasting, International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, and Journal of Cleaner Production.
