Hi! I’m Dr. Russ Hill, a retired doctor of Podiatric Medicine and also a retired teacher. My personal interests include sports, music, writing, and travel. My wife of many years and I have two grown children, both outstanding teachers.

My initial goal in developing Medical Investigation 101 was to introduce my students to the tools and methods used by doctors to analyze the medical challenges they solve every day and which are applicable to all our lives. I also endeavored to share the many and varied career opportunities available in healthcare. Finally, I share a great deal of medical terminology so that students learn to better communicate with their own doctors. I enlisted the help of my cousin and fellow physician, Dr. Richard Griffith, to assist with the patient case studies that allow students to practice their medical diagnosis skills.
