Yücel Çimtay received his B Sc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University in 2008, and his Ph D degree from Ankara University in 2018. Between 2013 and 2018, he worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Havelsan, where he contributed to various projects in signal and image processing. From 2018 to 2020, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute for Digital Technologies, Loughborough University London. He is currently an Associate Professor in Computer Engineering. His research interests include image and signal processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
