Dr. Abdullah M. Al Alawi is a Senior Consultant in General Medicine and Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program in Oman. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the American College of Physicians. With advanced degrees in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Research, Dr. Al Alawi has received multiple national awards for research excellence and has over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has secured 15 research grants, including studies on magnesium disorders, their prevalence, prognostic value, and impact on diabetes management. Passionate about medical education, he has led projects on residency program evaluations, burnout assessments, and AI-based learning tools. He actively supervises research, mentors trainees, and delivers workshops on evidence-based medicine, systematic reviews, and clinical research methods.
