My name is Eric Purdie, and I’ve been a GIS Teaching Assistant for four years at my college known for creating high-quality hands-on tutorials.  I have a Bachelor of Science and have completed post-grad studies focused in the GIS space.  I have 10 years of experience analyzing real-life raster and vector datasets from different sources and producing maps/web maps for publication both with paid and free software. I specialize in creating in-depth tutorials that help students learn the skills they need to apply these GIS concepts in the real world.
