Hi, I’m Evgeny, a software engineer and technical instructor with a background in both software development and quality assurance.

I started my career in QA and test automation and later moved into Java backend development. This combination has given me a broad perspective on software engineering—from writing and testing code to understanding architecture, maintainability, and the quality of the final product.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with Java, Spring, backend technologies, test automation, and distributed systems. I’ve also conducted hundreds of technical interviews and mentored engineers at different stages of their careers.

One thing I’ve learned from all of this experience is that strong fundamentals really matter.

That’s also the philosophy behind my courses. I like to explain technical concepts in a comprehensive but structured way, starting with the fundamentals and gradually building toward more advanced topics. Rather than simply memorizing annotations, commands, or interview answers, I want you to understand what is happening under the hood, why it works, and what happens when things go wrong.
