Creativity has always been a central part of my life, whether expressed through drawing, design, or building ideas from the ground up. Over time, my work as both an artist and educator has shaped the way I understand and engage with my craft.
My main focus is craniofacial anatomy and portrait drawing. I have authored several papers in this area and created over 5,000 detailed anatomical studies exploring soft tissue structure. I’m especially interested in how facial features vary across racial, ancestral, and gender groups, as well as the subtle anatomical distinctions that shape individual identity.
I am drawn to details that often go overlooked but play a significant role in appearance and expression. This sensitivity to nuance informs both my artistic practice and anatomical research. In addition to facial studies, I maintain a strong focus on full-body anatomy, examining how structure, form, and movement contribute to presence and vitality. Among my key achievements is the ability to produce écorché drawings directly from observation, without preliminary underdrawings or preparation, reflecting both a deep anatomical understanding and strong observational skill.
My aim is to refine my mastery of figure drawing, not only to depict the body accurately, but to express its weight, rhythm, and life with clarity and sensitivity. My work sits at the intersection of art, science, and communication.
