Hello, I'm Tomoko, an English teacher from Japan. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a staff member at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. Today, I run my own English school and have taught more than 6,000 students of all ages, from children to adults. As both an English teacher and a lifelong learner of Japanese, I have developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and meaning of kanji. I believe that kanji are much more than characters to memorize—they tell stories, express values, and offer a unique window into Japanese culture.
