About me
Dr Gasser Gamaz holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and brings more than 25 years of experience in mechanical design, structural analysis, and multiphysics engineering across the aerospace, offshore energy, oil and gas, and transport industries.
His satellite career includes serving as deputy group leader for satellite structures at the Yuzhnoye Design Office in Ukraine and at the Egyptian Space Program, where he designed and analyzed spacecraft structures under launch and dynamic loads. He has since collaborated with Airbus on the A380 program, delivered multiphysics consultancy for industrial clients in the US and Europe, and provided analytical sign-off for safety-critical hardware using ANSYS, ABAQUS, and NASTRAN against international design codes.
He is the author of the Springer textbook Finite Element Analysis for Satellite Structures: Applications to Their Design, Manufacture and Testing, the four-volume series Mechanical Design using Multiphysics & Agentic AI (Volume 1 on Amazon), and more than 35 peer-reviewed journal papers.
His current focus is building AI-driven engineering workflows: pairing agentic AI copilots such as Claude with a fully open-source simulation stack to design, mesh, and analyze real hardware — cutting both iteration time and license costs. On Udemy, he teaches exactly that, using a real 1U CubeSat as the running case study, with every skill transferable to any mechanical part you design.
