Vera Lantelme-Faisan is an international educator, physiotherapist, and specialist in Equine Assisted Services with more than 25 years of clinical and teaching experience.
She began working in paediatric rehabilitation in 1999 and has dedicated much of her professional career to the development, education, and advancement of Equine Assisted Services both nationally and internationally. Věra is the Chair of Svítání Academy of Equine Assisted Services and currently serves as President of HETI (Horses in Education and Therapy International), the world's leading international organisation dedicated to Equine Assisted Services.
Throughout her career, she has taught hundreds of practitioners, developed educational programmes, contributed to international projects, and helped establish professional standards within the field. Her work combines practical clinical experience, evidence-informed practice, safety, and a strong commitment to equine welfare.
Věra's teaching style is practical, approachable, and focused on real-life situations. Her goal is to help learners understand Equine Assisted Services clearly and confidently, whether they are parents, professionals, volunteers, equine owners, or individuals exploring the field for the first time.
