Dr. G. Prasanna obtained PhD in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding from PJTAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad in 2023. Currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding at School of Agriculture, SR University, Warangal. She specializes in classical and molecular plant breeding, with a focus on genetic improvement of rice for yield and quality traits. She has authored research papers in reputed national and international journals and actively guides undergraduate and postgraduate students in breeding research. Her academic expertise and research contributions reflect a strong commitment to integrating advanced genomic tools with traditional breeding methods for sustainable crop improvement.
