I’m an MSc HRM-qualified professional, ICF-trained coach, trainer and facilitator, and I currently work as Head of Employability & Skills at Bournemouth University.

I have 20+ years’ experience in HR, Learning & Development and Education, working across industries including manufacturing, aerospace, FMCG, yachting and higher education. Throughout my career, I’ve hired, developed and supported hundreds of people - including young people starting their very first job.

I created this course because many 16–24 year olds enter work without ever being taught the basics - contracts, payslips, probation periods, or workplace expectations. My goal is to demystify the world of work, build confidence, and help you feel prepared, informed and work-ready from day one.
