My professional journey started in the year 1981 when I passed out from engineering college completing Industrial Electronics. I worked with Tata Electric R & D department for a period of 1 year and then got the opportunity to work with Delarco of USA as a resident engineer in India. This brought me to printing industry as my responsibility was to install, train and maintain the electronic equipment that were used for Newspaper production.

This experience of working with Delarco brought me into the world of printing and I soon developed a passion for it. In 1984 when Delarco closed its operations worldwide, I decided to try my luck in own business and form a partnership company with my classmate Mr. Bharadwaj under the name of Datec India. We started selling our professional services to the Newspaper and Publishing Industry and soon to Commercial Printers.

We represent a few firms from abroad and sell their equipment and software. We expanded our business across India and soon became a respectable name in the industry.

In 2002, we partners decided to part ways to pursue our own dreams. This is when I established Venus Infotech and continued to cater for the Printing and Publishing Industry. Supported by the principals abroad and clients within India, the business soon picked up. I added new companies whose products I started selling.

With experience of over 44 years, I decided to give back to industry what I got. As a visiting faculty in some of the printing institute in India, I have always focused on practical aspects of the technology.
