Ibrahem Elzalabany's Background:
Born in 1996 in Elbehira, Egypt, Ibrahem was a charge nurse at Aswan Heart Centre (AHC) - Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation (MYF) till mid of 2023. He specializes in catheterization procedures that minimize pain and recovery time.
Educational and Career Path:
He holds a nursing degree from Aswan University and completed a critical care bachelor's degree in 2018. His academic journey began in 2011 at the secondary school of nursing.
Professional Experience:
He began his career as an operation staff nurse at Elzehira Hospital in Behira government from 2012 to mid-2014. Later, he worked as a staff nurse in operative and catheterization units at "Elhaya Cardiac Center" in Alexandria for two years, starting in 2014.
In late 2015, he volunteered for six months at Gehan Hospital in Alexandria within the cardiothoracic operations department. In 2016, he joined the Magdi Yacoub Foundation as a cardiac catheterization staff nurse.
Achievements and Certifications:
Mr. Elzalabany holds several professional development certifications, including a preceptor program from Vermont Nursing in the USA in partnership with Aswan Heart Centre. He also holds certifications in basic and advanced life support from the American Heart Association and actively participates in conferences relevant to his career, such as Cardio-Egypt and Cardio-Alex.
