I am Irlon Terblanche, CEO at SioTech, Executive Head of Operations, Data, AI and Sales at Sanlam, a management consultant and a technologist. My background combines an Electromechanical Engineering degree from the University of Cape Town and an MBA with executive experience in banking, investments and insurance. I also work hands-on with software development, machine learning and cybersecurity.

My teaching connects technical concepts with business questions: Which problems are worth solving? What data and capabilities are needed? Where should human judgement remain? How can we measure whether an approach is useful?
