As a lawyer by training, I've worked with governments and international bodies like the World Bank and the New Zealand Ministry of Justice, engaging in a lot of 'important' policy work, such as negotiating cultural and financial redress between Maori, the indigenous people, and the New Zealand government, or drafting briefs and reports for the New Zealand Prime Minister.

I then pivoted into startups, initially founding my own startup, then working with some of the largest blockchain companies in the world.

Currently, I'm the founder of the AI Safety Lab, and also a co-founder of an emerging artist launch pad startup.
