I hold a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Alberta, Canada, and have spent over 27 years teaching across four continents—North America, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. My academic career spans film studies, drama, comparative literature, English literature, Spanish Literature, linguistics, and multiple languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian). I have taught critical thinking at every level of my career: from Communication Skills (COM201) at Prince Sultan University to Sustainability and Environmental Ethics (PHI 461), Principles of Professional Ethics (PHI 120), Research Approaches to Drama and Theatre (IBLC 113), and Critical and Creative Thinking (HSR 280) at UAE University. I also founded and directed the Centre for Creative Writing at the University of Abuja, where I developed three postgraduate programs and over 50 courses. My approach is interdisciplinary, comparative, and always focused on helping students think clearly, argue effectively, and communicate with confidence.
