About me
Jacquiline Cox aka Listen Linda
CEO. Author. Advocate. Kingdom Woman. Walking Testimony.
Hey y’all, I’m Jacquiline Cox—but most of y’all know me as Listen Linda. I wear a lot of
crowns, and every one of ‘em was earned, not given. I’m a 17-time best-selling, award-
winning author, the CEO of Listen Linda Brand & Marketing, and the Founder & Editor-in-
Chief of Listen Linda Magazine. I use my platform to empower, enlighten, and elevate
others—especially women who’ve been through the fire but came out dripping in grace.
I proudly hold the title of Mrs. Illinois USA Ambassador, and I was humbled to receive the
Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award signed by President Joe Biden himself. I’ve also
been awarded an Honorary Doctorate from MainSeed University for my impact in faith,
media, and mentorship.
But let me be clear—I didn’t get here without the storm. I’m a Lupus warrior, thyroid cancer
survivor, and I live with fibromyalgia. I’m also a proud mama bear to two amazing Black
sons, one with ADHD and one on the autism spectrum. Every challenge I’ve faced—health,
heartbreak, loss, racism, and family drama—I turned into purpose. Writing? That became
my therapy. My warfare. My praise break on paper.
I created Listen Linda Speaks on Patheos and Medium Digest because women like us need
real talk, real healing, and real hope. From devotionals and coloring books to faith-filled
interviews and animated video content, I’m on assignment for God—and I’m not shrinking
to make anyone else feel comfortable.
Now let’s talk about my latest piece in the powerful anthology The Resilient TWO. My
chapter is called “Getting Write, Before I Get Left,” and baby, it’s real. I go deep into how
writing became my survival tool—how I let the pen speak when my voice was tired, when
my body was weak, and when I was battling silently while smiling publicly. This chapter is
for every woman who had to write her way through the wilderness and still find her way
back to herself.
Call to Action:
Sis… if you’ve ever had to encourage others while your own heart was breaking, if you’ve
ever had to put yourself back together while folks watched you like you were already
whole—this is for you. My story in The Resilient TWO is a mirror, a message, and a
movement.
Go grab your copy now, support your girl, and remind the world that God’s not through with
us yet—we’re just getting write!
