I help you move from the fear of 'saying the wrong thing' to the competence of knowing exactly how to support someone.
We all want to be the person who helps. But when a colleague, friend, or family member is in a mental health crisis, we don't know what to do.
What if I make it worse? What if I say the wrong thing? Am I even qualified to bring this up?
I’m here to change that.
My name is Jake Morrison.
Having trained over 1,500 Mental Health First Aiders across 120+ organisations, I have received a 9.90/10 instructor rating from delegates by focusing on what actually happens in the "messy" real world. My approach is informed by a decade of senior leadership (including roles as a CEO and Director of Services) and my own lived experience of suicidal crisis.
I’ve sat on both sides of the conversation. I know what it feels like to be in the dark, and I know the tools required to bring someone back toward safety.
When you join my courses, you aren't just getting a certificate. You are gaining:
Practical Tools: Step-by-step techniques to spot the signs of crisis before they escalate.
Communication Skills: The exact language to use to de-escalate high-conflict or high-distress situations.
Safe Boundaries: How to support others without sacrificing your own wellbeing.
Expert Backing: Insights from my work as a workplace mediator and a Crisis Volunteer handling life-critical conversations.
Whether you are an HR Lead, a manager, or simply someone who wants to be prepared, my goal is to ensure you never have to look back at a situation and wish you knew what to do.
