About me
I help operations leaders stop firefighting and start improving — with capability their teams actually own, not another consulting dependency.
Twenty-seven years. Forty-plus organisations. Four continents. I have deployed continuous improvement at IBM, Royal Mail, Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank, Shell, KCA Deutag, Johnson Controls, and Bentley Systems. Master Black Belt. I led the team that earned the MITI Gold Certification — the first for any oil and gas operation in Malaysia — and received Masaaki Imai's Best CI Deployment recognition in Putrajaya in 2018.
Along the way I have trained hundreds of practitioners: Black Belt, Green Belt, and Yellow Belt programmes at Credit Suisse, Green Belt cohorts in banking, and the CI Practitioner curriculum I built and delivered across Shell operations in Asia. What those years taught me is simple: improvement does not fail on methodology. It fails on leadership behaviour and the absence of cadence — and it succeeds when ordinary teams learn to see waste, own the fix, and hold the gain.
I founded Stormholt to make that capability accessible to everyone, not just organisations with a consulting army. My courses teach the way I train in real operations: one real project, every tool with real examples, and an exercise in every lesson.
