I'm Jobin Thomas, an English language trainer, author and director of Jobins Training, established in 2016. I help learners prepare for IELTS and the Occupational English Test (OET), with a focus on clear communication, practical exam skills and purposeful study.

I hold a Master's degree in English Literature, am a PhD scholar and am a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL). I write IELTS and OET preparation books and learning materials that make exam requirements easier to understand and apply.

My teaching combines step-by-step explanations, worked examples and structured practice. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, fluency and organisation, helping learners understand both what to do and why it matters. For OET, this includes the professional communication skills needed in healthcare contexts.

I understand that preparing for an English exam often sits alongside work, family and career plans. My aim is to make each lesson clear, manageable and useful, so you can build your skills, practise with purpose and approach your preparation with greater confidence.
