Instructor Biography Eng. Kassim Kasana is a distinguished Asset Management practitioner and educator with over 14 years of experience optimizing critical infrastructure within the utilities and energy sectors. As a Registered Engineer (ERB 1970) and a Corporate Member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers, Kassim specializes in bridging the gap between complex engineering operations and high-level strategic value.

His teaching approach is defined by a "practitioner-first" methodology, drawing on his extensive background as an Overhead Maintenance Engineer at the Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (UEDCL). Kassim holds a rare combination of global credentials, including the IAM Diploma, CAMA, CMRP, and PMP®, making him uniquely qualified to lead students through the 39 subjects of the Asset Management Landscape.
