Hi! I'm Kate! I have a passion for learning ...pretty much anything.

As an instructional designer, I enjoy bringing my passion for learning to other professionals so that they may improve in their own work. For the past 10+ years, I have worked to develop impactful eLearning experiences across content areas and age groups, and I find that helping others to move forward in their own job-related skills has been truly rewarding work. 

Every life is a story, and mine has been jam-packed with twists, turns, and calls to adventure. Over the past decade, my career has intertwined the realms of education, graphic design, and film as my interests and experiences encompass all of these areas of focus.

From the initial days of my transition from designing promotional materials to crafting educational experiences, it was evident that the skills from my former design / film career only enhanced the effectiveness of the various eLearning content and resources I was able to create. My winding career path of instructional design has included the development, creation, and rollout of asynchronous video tutorial learning sessions focused on a collection of digital platforms that include Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Lumio, databases and learning management systems.

In addition, I have developed, implemented, and assessed over 30 train-the-trainer seminars that used a blended learning format to yield an increase in professional performance for more than 90% of the attendees. Seeing others thrive in their professions as a result of attending my trainings makes this work have a purpose.
