Kate is the Founder of Beyond the Safe Harbor, a women’s lifestyle blog, and also manages several other side hustles including a successful Etsy shop and freelance writing and consulting business.

A proud Canadian, Kate graduated from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and spent the first 9 years of her career working in marketing and strategy roles for large multinational corporations. She took the leap into full-time self-employment in early 2017 so that she could pursue her entrepreneurial passions full time.
Kate thrives in helping women save time, money, and stress when it comes to pursuing their goals. Whether it’s through her viral wedding planning articles, super-helpful templates and spreadsheets, or insider hacks, she’s dedicated to bringing her skills and experience to help as many people as possible.
