I have actively participated as a member of the faculty and the departments that I have been involved with during my time either as an adjunct or as a member of faculty. I have worked as curriculum coordinator, an advisor for theses, textbook review committee member, portfolio reviewer, member of faculty searches, faculty leader for a service trip, and mentor to new teachers and tutors. My involvement has allowed me to understand the need for community building in the academic setting.
