Mrs. D. Kayathiri, M.Pharm, Ph.D. (Research Scholar) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the School of Pharmacy, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Puducherry, India, with over 18 years of experience in pharmacy education, clinical research, and healthcare training.

She holds a Master's degree in Pharmacy Practice and is currently pursuing her Ph.D., focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence in Diabetes Care to enhance clinical decision support and improve patient outcomes.

Mrs. Kayathiri has extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students and has guided numerous research projects. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, Pharmacogenomics, Clinical Research, Evidence-Based Medicine, Drug Repurposing, and Precision Medicine. She has authored several peer-reviewed research articles, contributed book chapters, edited academic publications, and presented her work at national and international conferences.

Her industry and research experience includes serving as a Senior Research Fellow at JIPMER under an ICMR-funded pharmacogenomics project, providing her with a strong foundation in translational and clinical research.

As an educator, she is passionate about transforming complex scientific concepts into practical, engaging, and easy-to-understand learning experiences. Through her courses, she aims to equip students, healthcare professionals, researchers, and lifelong learners with evidence-based knowledge and real-world insights that can be directly applied in academic, clinical, and research settings.
